Terms & conditions

These terms explain how buying from the Little pierogi shop at shop.pierogiwithhanna.pl works: how an order is made, how you pay, how delivery, returns and complaints work, and what your rights are. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them.

1. Who you are buying from

The shop is run by Hanna Szpil-Backer, trading as Pierogi with Hanna, Wielkanocna 4F, 30-376 Kraków, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 6772338593. You can reach us by email at shop@pierogiwithhanna.pl, by phone at +48 509 311 619, or through the contact form on this website.

2. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to everyone who buys from the shop. Where we say "consumer", we mean a person buying for purposes not connected with their business. A person running a sole proprietorship who buys for purposes that are not of a professional nature for their business also has the consumer rights described in sections 7 and 8, as Polish law provides. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have under the law that protects them.

3. Products and prices

4. How an order works

5. Payment and invoices

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. You can pay by card, BLIK, Przelewy24, PayPal or the other methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your card details. An invoice is created automatically and attached to your order confirmation email. If you are buying for a business and need your company's tax number (NIP) on the invoice, please email us before you place the order.

6. Delivery

Delivery methods, prices and times are explained on our Delivery & returns page and shown in the basket. Orders are usually dispatched within 2 to 3 working days. If you are a consumer, responsibility for the parcel passes to you once you, or someone you have chosen (other than the courier), receive it.

7. Your right to withdraw (14 days)

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you, or someone you have chosen (other than the courier), take possession of the items. If one order arrives in several parcels, it starts when you receive the last one.

8. If something is wrong with your order (complaints)

We are responsible for making sure the items match the contract. If an item turns out to be faulty or not as described, you have the rights the law gives you for 2 years from delivery.

9. Solving disagreements

If we ever disagree, please write to us first. We will do our best to find a fair solution. As a consumer you can also get free help or mediation from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa). More information is available from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) at prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl. Using these options is voluntary, and you can always go to court instead.

10. Applicable law

Polish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country.

11. Your personal data

How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy & Cookies policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the law changes. Your order is always governed by the terms that were in force when you placed it.

13. Language versions

These terms are available in English and Polish (Regulamin). Both versions have the same content. If they ever differ, the Polish version prevails.
